PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP)

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a concentration of your own blood platelets. These platelets are rich in bioactive proteins that release growth factors to stimulate healing and cell regeneration. The PRP procedure consists of a modest blood draw, processing the blood to obtain the concentrated platelets, and then injection by a clinician back into the injured or desired area of treatment during the same appointment.

PROTEIN CONCENTRATE (A2M)

Protein concentrate (A2M) is the exact same process as PRP but with an extra processing step to isolate and concentrate the specific proteins in the blood that eliminate inflammation, which has been shown to cause and advance osteoarthritis. This therapy is also injected on the same day as the blood draw.

AMNIOTIC FLUID ALLOGRAFT (AMNIO)

Amniotic fluid has been used in medicine since the early 1900s in many facets of healthcare. It contains proteins, cytokines, and growth factors that have demonstrated the ability to reduce inflammation, create new blood vessels, break down scar tissue, and promote healing. The donors are pre-screened, the samples are tested in FDA/CLIA-certified labs to be free of communicable diseases, and they are sterilized prior to packaging.

REGENERATIVE PROTEIN ARRAY (RPA)

RPA is a sophisticated array of proteins, growth factors, and cytokines derived from placental tissue. RPA is produced by placing placental tissue in a specialized bioreactor, which nurtures and stimulates the tissue to produce many cytokines and growth factors—resulting in a concentrated source of the regenerative factors inherent in placental tissue. It is estimated to be 1000 times more potent than platelet-rich plasma (PRP). RPA can be administered in multiple ways, depending on the clinical need. This versatility makes RPA suitable for various medical applications. Since the product lacks DNA or whole cells, it significantly reduces the risk of adverse reactions. The FDA regulates the manufacturing, processing, and distribution but allows licensed clinicians to make therapy use and care decisions in collaboration with patients.
